A weather system south of the SAR area will bring snow and blowing
snow to the SAR area today, and decreasing chances for snow tonight.
Winds will be northeast 6 to 14 mph today with gusts up to 33 mph
in the late morning and afternoon. Ridgetop winds will be east around
15 mph. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 20s. Snow will accumulate
to around a foot by the end of the day. Up to 9 inches of snow will occur
tonight with temperatures in the teens. Winds will be northwest 6 to 11 mph
with gusts up to 28 mph early in the evening. Ridgetop winds will be northeast
around 15 mph becoming north around 5 mph early in the morning.
