Today will be cold and mostly dry with highs in the teens to 20s. Over the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountains, there is a slight chance of light snow during the morning hours. Look for temperatures to moderate back near normal with highs in the 20s and 30s Monday and Tuesday. With this, winds will increase over south-central Montana once again, strongest over the foothills west of Billings Monday night into Tuesday. Another winter weather system is then expected to drop through the area Tuesday into Wednesday, bringing a moderate to high chance of precipitation (rain/snow) back to the area. This weather system will also usher in slightly cooler temperatures for mid-week.
