A weak cold front will bring breezy (gusts 20-30mph) northerly winds to the eastern half of the fire district this afternoon, along with isolated light showers and maybe a thunderstorm. Temperatures will be in the mid 80s this afternoon, with MinRH values holding in the 30-40 percent range most areas behind the front. Winds turn southerly Tuesday boosting temperatures into the 90s and dropping MinRH values into the 20-30 percent range. An isolated afternoon thunderstorm is possible from the southwest mountains along the southern state line, diminishing early evening. Wednesday looks like the warmest day of the week with highs in the mid to upper 90s and MinRH values dropping into the teens and 20s. Expect wind gusts to 25 mph over the western foothills Wednesday afternoon, with occasional thermal wind gusts 20-25mph elsewhere during the hottest part of the day.
