Widespread precipitation is forecast into Wednesday, with rain/snow across the lower elevations and accumulating snow in the mountains. Light snow accumulations are forecast in the western foothills, as well as higher hills south and east of Billings through tonight. Total amounts are in the range of 1-4 inches with the highest amounts expected in the Beartooth Foothills. Breezy conditions are forecast along with near normal temperatures (highs in the 30s to 40F), Thursday into the weekend. Another weather system is possible to end the week, though details are unclear at this time.
