A dry northwest flow aloft, combined with persistent easterly surface winds, will keep the region dry with seasonable temps and high RH recoveries through the first part of the coming week. There is a low chance of showers and weak thunderstorms over the Absarokas/Beartooths beginning Monday and continuing into Wednesday. We then expect an increasing chance of showers and wet thunderstorms across the districts by Thursday and Friday as monsoonal moisture moves into the region. Storms may be slow moving, thus could produce significant local precipitation.
