...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 4 to 7
  inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as
  35 mph will produce some blowing and drifting snow in open areas.

* WHERE...Wayne, Northern Cayuga, and Oswego Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult at times with snow covered
  roads. Areas of blowing snow will reduce visibility. The hazardous
  conditions will impact the evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling,
be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow with greatly reduced visibilities to dry conditions just
a few miles away. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.

THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 2 to 4
  inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as
  30 mph will produce some blowing and drifting snow in open areas.

* WHERE...Chautauqua County. The greatest accumulations will be
  inland across higher terrain in the southwest portion of the
  county.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery and snow covered road conditions at
  times. The hazardous conditions will impact the Wednesday evening
  commute.
