At 528 AM EST, a band of snow was located along much of the south
shore of Lake Ontario from Niagara County eastward across the
Rochester area to Oswego County. This band of snow will continue to
move southeast across the area between the Lake Ontario shore and
New York State Thruway early this morning, producing a brief period
of moderate snow.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
