.DISCUSSION...
A large area of surface high pressure will settle from New England
this morning to the eastern seaboard through the end of the work
week. A southerly flow on the back side of this surface high will
allow for a modest increase in moisture that will nudge the
afternoon humidity up, while also allowing for a spot shower or
thunderstorm today, and then east of Lake Ontario on Thursday. As
surface high pressure remains near our region into the weekend, the
dry spell is expected to persist through the weekend, with modest
humidity values early edging higher through the weekend.
