...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 8
  inches with locally higher amounts. Winds gusting as high as 40
  mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northern New York and all of northern and
  central Vermont outside of the Champlain Valley.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact this evening`s commute, as well as both the morning
  and evening commutes on Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Multiple rounds of snow are expected during
  the event. Areas of blowing and drifting snow may impact travel at
  times today and again late Thursday.
