Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

A narrow strip of snow extended form De Kalb, Russell, and Tupper
Lake in New York. Radar estimates suggest that snowfall rates may
be approaching 1 inch per hour in this narrow band. It has
persisted over the last couple hours, but should begin to shift
southeast shortly. Be prepared for sharp drops in visibility and
snow covered roads if driving across this band. Conditions can
deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be prepared for
snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time when
traveling.
