.DISCUSSION...
Rounds of showers and potentially some thunderstorms will
continue to move through this afternoon between potential breaks
of sun, becoming scattered on and off showers tonight. Highest
chance of precipitation over the next 24 hours is expected around
6 PM through 3 AM. Total rainfall amounts through tomorrow will be
about 0.40-0.80". Minimum relative humidities today will be
around 60-80% with winds likely 10-15 mph out of the south and
gusts 20-25 mph, potentially higher in thunderstorms. Tonight,
winds are expected to decrease to 5-10 mph with gusts 10-15 mph.
Tomorrow, we could see a few more showers with winds 5-10 mph and
gusts 10-15 mph as the wind direction turns more westerly off the
Adirondacks. Relative humidities are expected to fall as low as
40-50%.
