.DISCUSSION...

...A few strong to locally severe thunderstorms are possible on Saturday
across the event area...

Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected on Saturday.
The first round is forecasted to impact the area between 8AM and 11AM,
with another round between 1 PM and 4PM, which could be strong to locally
severe. A few stronger storms during the afternoon hours, may contain small
hail, gusty winds, frequent lightning and localized heavy rainfall.
Depending upon location of heavy rainfall footprint, sharp rises on
streams and rivers are possible, if multiple thunderstorms impact the
same river basin. Rainfall amounts will vary greatly, but basin averages
of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are expected with localized 1 to 2 inches possible
in the heavier storms. The thunderstorm activity should weaken and move
east of the area by 8 PM Saturday.
