.DISCUSSION...Anomalously cold conditions continue with a large Arctic
airmass impacting the northern Adirondacks. Ridging increasing
tonight will result in slightly less winds, but clearing skies
will allow for ambient temperatures dipping further below zero.
While breezes will be more isolated, localized drainage winds of 3
to 8 mph, could become hazardous with these low temperatures.
Some light snow showers or flurries are possible as flow off of
Lake Ontario continues to produce lake effect snow downstream.
Next chance for any accumulating snow will be Thursday night as a
shortwave crosses the region, at this time accumulations are
expected to be light.
