With high pressure overhead this morning, dry weather is expected to continue at least through the early afternoon. Dry air will remain in place today with relative humidities 33-60%. Light upslope winds this morning will increase becoming southwest 5-10 mph with gusts 10-20 mph. Winds shift westerly overnight. Isolated to scattered light shower activity is possible beginning by 2 PM through this evening. Most likely rainfall amounts will only be a few hundreths of an inch with chances of wetting rains around 40% at the burn site. Should a thunderstorm occur, rain totals could exceed 0.25 inches. Strong RH recovery expected overnight with RH exceeding 90%. Better chances for a wetting rain will arrive Friday evening into Saturday with precipitation amounts between half an inch to three-quarters of an inch possible by Saturday night areawide. .REST OF TODAY...
