.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather will continue through the weekend. Compared to today
when we have seen frequent gusts of 25 to 32 MPH in much of the
Champlain Valley and central Vermont, winds will be notably
lighter tonight into tomorrow. Lowest relative humidities through
the next several days, falling to near 30%, are expected on
Saturday but winds will be light. Looking ahead to Sunday, we
will have increased fire weather concerns, especially during the
afternoon with increasingly strong southerly winds with a high
likelihood of gusts exceeding 25 MPH, especially in the western
Adirondacks and Champlain Valley.
