...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT JIM HOGG AND WESTERN BROOKS
COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM CDT...

At 642 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near South Fork Estates to near Ramirez.
Movement was south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hebbronville, Agua Nueva, Guerra, Las Lomitas, Gruy Stadium, Jim Hogg
County Airport, Hebbronville High School, South Fork Estates,
Hebbronville Border Patrol Station, and Puesta Del Sol Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
