The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Baffin Bay to Port Mansfield TX out 20 NM...
  Waters from Baffin Bay to Port Mansfield TX from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 930 PM CDT.

* At 857 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 28 nm southeast of Malaquite Beach to 29 nm
  northeast of Laguna Madre, moving southeast at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, small hail, high waves, dangerous
lightning, and heavy rain are possible with these storms.
