.SYNOPSIS...Thunderstorm driven winds and broad wind field over
Western Gulf continues to provide fresh to strong east to
southeast winds and a high sea state. Small Craft advisories
remain in place for all coastal waters through at least 1 PM
today. Wind gradient begins to relax tonight with a moderate
onshore flow for the weekend. Seas look to be slow in subsiding as
winds over the eastern and Central Gulf may continue to drive an
elevated swell towards the lower Texas coast. A weak cold front
moves into the northern Gulf waters early next week turn winds to
the east at a light to moderate level.
