Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Hazardous marine conditions with a fresh breeze and
rough seas continue through Tuesday morning. A Small Craft
Advisory has been extended until 6 PM CST on Tuesday as seas will
likely remain moderate to rough. Moderate southerly winds and
slight seas are forecast to return by Wednesday. A cold front
Thursday could result in more adverse marine conditions through
late week.

midnight, then becoming northwest early in the morning. Light
chop on the bay, diminishing to smooth after midnight.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming south in the
afternoon, then becoming southeast late in the afternoon. Light
chop on the bay. A chance of showers in the afternoon.
