.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure centered across the Plains and a broad area of low
pressure across the southern Gulf will maintain weak to moderate
northeast flow across the Lower Texas coastal waters through at
least midweek. By the end of the week...a weak tropical wave in
the Western Gulf will likely increase the northeast flow and build
seas slightly. Rain chances will increase on Wednesday and into
the weekend. The best rain chances will be from Friday through
Sunday. The National Hurricane Center is monitoring this broad low
