Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Onshore flow will shift northerly tonight, increasing
to moderate to fresh during the day. A coastal trough to our south
will increase chances of precipitation over the waters Thursday
and Thursday night, with a higher chance over the southernmost
waters off the Lower Texas Coast. Early Friday, northeasterly
winds may increase to strong before shifting southerly on
Saturday. Periods of Small Craft Should Exercise Caution and
Small Craft Advisory may be possible this weekend.
