Coastal Waters Forecast for the Lower Texas Coast

Lower Texas coastal waters from Baffin Bay to the mouth of the
Rio Grande out 60 NM.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...Strong northerly flow and building seas are expected
today as high pressure surges into the region. A few gale force
gusts will be possible this morning. Marine conditions will
briefly improve late tonight into early Monday morning with winds
decreasing and shifting to the east. Winds will increase and seas
build again Monday afternoon. Hazardous marine conditions are
expected to persist through Wednesday. Precipitation is likely
Monday into Tuesday. For the latter half of the week, expect
moderate winds and seas as a coastal low approaches from the
south. This will bring a moderate chance of rain Thursday and
Friday.
