Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
409 PM EDT Tue Jul 8 2025

.DISCUSSION...

A cold front brings additional showers and storms today. Areas of
flooding are possible, particularly in urban and poor-drainage
areas. Unsettled weather continues Wednesday with another round
of showers and storms possible. Minimum relative humidity values
Wednesday expected between 55 to 75 percent for most, and between
75 and 85 percent closer to the coast.

.OUTLOOK...Thursday through Sunday.

Typical summertime pattern for the rest of this week with
scattered showers and thunderstorms. Cooler conditions arrive
late this week as high pressure begins to reduce the chance for
widespread rainfall.
