Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England

.DISCUSSION...

A cold front moves south across the region today. Scattered
showers this morning will be followed by drying this afternoon. A
wave of low pressure tracking to the south late tonight into
Monday will bring another period of rain with wet snow over the
higher elevations.

Minimum relative humidity values will be 50 to 65 percent this
afternoon, except 75 to 85 percent on the Cape and Islands.
Minimum relative humidity values Monday will be 60 to 80 percent.

.OUTLOOK...Tuesday through Saturday...

A strong cold front passage late Monday night and early Tuesday
will be followed by blustery and chilly conditions Tuesday into
Wednesday. Warming up, but turning cloudy and damp again for
Thursday and Friday. Continued wet and unsettled weather heading
into next weekend.
