Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
408 PM EDT Tue Oct 14 2025

.DISCUSSION...

The coastal low pressure affecting Southern New England will
continue move off, with drying conditions and decreasing winds
this evening. High pressure brings dry weather Wednesday with
breezy north winds gusting 15-25 mph.

Minimum relative humidities are expected to be above 70 percent
for today and between 50 and 65 percent on Wednesday.

.OUTLOOK...Thursday through Monday...

High pressure brings dry weather for most of the area through
late in the week, but it will also bring below normal
temperatures and gusty northwest winds. There may be some spotty
rain showers Thursday along the eastern coast. A warming trend is
then anticipated for the weekend.
