...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON AND
SOUTHWESTERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES UNTIL 615 PM MDT...

At 527 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Deckers, or 32 miles south of Denver, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Roxborough Park, Devil`s Head, Sprucewood, Deckers, Westcreek,
  South Platte, Perry Park, Cheesman Reservoir and Shamballa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
