033 FPUS85 KBOU 091604 OPUBOU Developmental Probabilistic Snow Accumulation Forecast National Weather Service Denver/Boulder, Colorado 0904 MST Thursday, January 09, 2025 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This developmental product contains the probabilities (%) that the given snow amounts (inches) will occur at Denver International Airport during the respec- tive 3- or 12-hour periods. The probabilities indicate the amount of snow that is expected to accumulate on runways and other concrete surfaces at DIA. [T (trace) means more than zero.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Short Term (09/11-10/11 MST): Snow will end by 11 am, or noon at the latest. The heaviest snow from this event is just starting to taper off, and will diminish rather quickly through 10 am, and taper to flurries shortly thereafter. Additional snow accumulation will be less than an inch, and most likely less than a half inch. Strong winds are producing blowing snow, but that too will decrease a little, with just shallow drifting snow across runways expected into early afternoon. 0" T or 1" or 3" or 10" or Day/Hour MST more more more more -------------------------------------------------- 09/11-09/14 | 65 35 0 0 09/14-09/17 | 95 5 0 0 09/17-09/20 | 100 0 0 0 09/20-09/23 | 100 0 0 0 09/11-09/23 | 0 09/23-10/02 | 100 0 0 0 10/02-10/05 | 100 0 0 0 10/05-10/08 | 100 0 0 0 10/08-10/11 | 100 0 0 0 09/23-10/11 | 0 Long Term (10/11-11/11 MST): No snow expected. 0" T or 1" or 3" or 10" or Day/Hour MST more more more more -------------------------------------------------- 10/11-10/14 | 100 0 0 0 10/14-10/17 | 100 0 0 0 10/17-10/20 | 100 0 0 0 10/20-10/23 | 100 0 0 0 10/11-10/23 | 0 10/23-11/02 | 100 0 0 0 11/02-11/05 | 100 0 0 0 11/05-11/08 | 100 0 0 0 11/08-11/11 | 100 0 0 0 10/23-11/11 | 0
