The probabilities indicate the amount of snow that is expected to accumulate on runways and other concrete surfaces at DIA. Any additional accumulations should be minimal, with less than a trace possible before sunrise. Snow returns to the area Thursday morning, mainly south of the airport, but there is a chance it reaches DIA. Accumulations of up to 1 inch are possible between 12Z Thursday and 0Z Friday. The heaviest period of snowfall accumulation could occur Friday midnight into Saturday morning; early Saturday morning, there is a 70 percent chance of an additional 1-2 inches accumulating on runways.
