This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Light snow is expected to move in late tonight that could make
for some slick travel conditions for the morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Light snow and a potentially slick morning commute is expected
for most areas Thursday, along with strong northwesterly winds
developing over the plains. The strong, gusty winds will produce
areas of blowing and drifting snow, mainly just east of the I-25
Corridor where the winds will be strongest. The new snow, in
combination with blowing snow, will create hazardous travel
conditions including I-70 east of Denver and portions of I-76.
Even portions of Denver metro will likely be impacted by light
snow and slick roads for the morning commute.

Another round of snow, this time mostly in the mountains, can be
expected from Friday night through this weekend. There is a lower
chance of snow on the plains mainly north of Denver Saturday.

Below normal temperatures will continue over the forecast ares
into next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However,
any snowfall reports will be appreciated.
