This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow will increase by early this evening in the mountains and continue overnight. Gusty west winds from 50 to 60 mph will produce blowing snow and poor visibility over the higher passes with hazardous travel conditions. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday It will be a fairly active weather pattern for the week ahead with bouts of mainly light snow. No large storms are foreseen. However, slick and hazardous travel conditions can still be expected during each one of these periods of snowfall. Arctic cold will arrive for the plains and foothills by late Monday, and should hold through Tuesday and Wednesday. One round of light snow will be exiting the mountains Saturday morning, but that will soon be followed by another round Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Some of that snow will spill onto the plains, with light snow accumulations favored closer to the Wyoming and Nebraska borders. The next round of snow arrives late Monday with the passage of an arctic cold front, That snow likely continues off and on through Tuesday, possibly lasting all the way into Wednesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
