A cold front will bring upslope winds into the project area this afternoon with some cooling. Temperatures will recover on Friday with winds likely staying west to southwest. Saturday will be windier, though the strongest winds will be north of I-70 and in South Park and the surrounding mountains. It should be breezy in the project area and could approach Red Flag criteria in the afternoon. From Sunday onward for several days, it will remain warm and dry with lighter west winds. Smoke dispersal should be good to very good during the late morning and afternoon hours on these days. There`s a good chance those conditions will last through Friday, though light winds under a ridge may limit smoke dispersal in the middle of the week if the ridge builds over us too strongly. .TODAY...
