.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures in the mid 80s this afternoon, with humidity around
35%. There`s still a slight chance of showers or storms in the vicinity
through mid-evening. If any showers or storms develop, there will
be potential for brief stronger gusts of 25-35 mph. Otherwise,
gust speeds should remain below 15-20 mph. A moderate recovery is
expected tonight, with humidity climbing into the 50-60% range.
Weaker drainage winds will settle in again for the overnight
period.
Drier conditions expected to develop tomorrow. Temperatures will
be a little cooler but still above normal. Minimum humidity
readings will drop to about 25-27%. Any storms that develop should
stay to the south of the burn site. Winds should be light from
the southeast, with a few gusts of up to 15mph on southeast
aspects.
Looking further ahead to Wednesday and Thursday, it will remain
dry. Thursday could see a return of elevated fire weather
conditions, with higher temperatures, lower humidities, and
breezier conditions.
