.DISCUSSION...

A couple of very weak disturbances will keep temperatures cool today
and Thursday, with partly to mostly cloudy skies and periods of breezy
west/northwest winds. These winds will be strongest Thursday evening
through Friday morning when gusts 35 to 50 mph are expected. There is
high confidence in the prevailing wind direction through the forecast
period, but low confidence on peak wind gust strength and timing of any
weakening on winds on Friday. Nonetheless, anticipate gradual weakening
through the afternoon Friday as a shallow front enters the plains ahead
of an incoming system.

This storm system will bring several inches of snow to the site between
Friday evening and Sunday.

Smoke dispersal conditions will be Good or better for several hours each
afternoon through Friday.
