.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Tuesday...Scattered showers will
continue tonight across most of the region, with excellent
overnight humidity recovery. Warmer and drier conditions are
expected on Tuesday, though daytime RH should remain above 30%
across the region. Some gusty winds are also possible across North
Park/South Park and over the plains south of I-76.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Tuesday night through Saturday...The
warming and drying trend is expected to continue into Wednesday,
with above normal temperatures likely across the region. Wind
gusts will also increase across the forecast area, with some 40-45
mph gusts possible over South Park and the eastern plains.
Relative humidity should remain over 25-30%, limiting the overall
fire danger. A storm system should bring cooler temperatures and a
chance of precipitation to the higher elevations Thursday, with
quieter weather expected by this weekend.
