.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Friday...Humidity levels will drop
into the teens across much of the forecast area on Friday
afternoon for a few hours. Southwest winds gusting from 15
to 25 mph over the Palmer Divide divide and Lincoln County
will created elevated fire weather conditons.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday night through Tuesday...Wetting
precipitation and much cooler weather arrives this weekend.
Temperatures will start to cool Saturday with the passage of a
cold front across the plains and foothills in the morning.
Showers and a couple thunderstorms will become more numerous and
widespread late Saturday afternoon into the evening, continuing
Saturday night, and then diminishing Sunday. Temperatures will be
leaning toward "cold" for Sunday.
Some rebound in temperatures can be expected Monday, but then
another cold front arrive slate Monday or Monday evening for
cooler temperatures and a chance of light showers lasting into
Tuesday.
