Southwest winds gusting from 15 to 25 mph over the Palmer Divide divide and Lincoln County will created elevated fire weather conditons. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday night through Tuesday...Wetting precipitation and much cooler weather arrives this weekend. Temperatures will start to cool Saturday with the passage of a cold front across the plains and foothills in the morning. Showers and a couple thunderstorms will become more numerous and widespread late Saturday afternoon into the evening, continuing Saturday night, and then diminishing Sunday. Temperatures will be leaning toward "cold" for Sunday.
