.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Wednesday...
A cold front will move through in the morning on Wednesday with
gusts up to 35 mph from the north. Minimum relative humidity will
stay above 20 percent so no critical fire weather conditions are
expected. However, some pockets of elevated fire weather
conditions may develop over the plains.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday...
Similar conditions will develop on Thursday with highs reaching
the upper 80s across the plains. Minimum relative humidity will
drop to around 15 percent across the plains. With gusts up to 30
mph out of the north, near critical fire weather conditions are
expected especially across Weld, Morgan, and Logan Counties.
Friday will be much cooler and humidity will stay above 30
percent. Temperatures will increase over the weekend but some
moisture advecting into the area will keep humidity above 25
percent. No critical fire weather conditions are expected Friday
through Sunday.
