.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Friday...High pressure aloft will
continue to bring mild and dry conditions through Friday. The high
shifts east of the state Friday. This will bring increasing
southwest flow aloft and windy conditions to the higher terrain
(~above 8500 feet) Friday afternoon. Smoke dispersion increases
with most locations in the mountains and foothills climbing above
good.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday night through Tuesday...It will be
dry through Sunday, except for a chance of light snow in the
mountains on Saturday. Temperatures will be near seasonal levels.
A storm system may affect the far eastern plains on Monday and
Tuesday, bringing a chance of rain or snow.
