.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Friday...Warm conditions will prevail
again across the area. West to southwest winds increase overnight
and will be strong for Friday. The windiest locations are expected
in the mountains and foothills where gusts of 50 to 60 mph will
be possible. Some of the gusty west winds may spread onto the
plains, but a Denver Cyclone may produce weaker winds for much of
the area Friday afternoon. Smoke dispersion will be good or better
Friday.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday night through Tuesday...
The long term period will be cold with almost a daily chance of
snow. This pattern will keep relative humidity on the higher side
and no critical fire weather conditions are expected. Most days will
have good smoke dispersal in the higher terrain and it may provide
opportunities for burning as accumulating snow will fall as well.
