.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Thursday...Moisture will increase on
Thursday, with more widespread but weak showers and thunderstorms
over the mountains in the afternoon. The main threat will be gusty
winds, but localized heavy rain is possible. For the plains, there
will be some increase in humidity, but most of the thunderstorm
activity will wait until evening.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Thursday night through Monday...
Scattered thunderstorms will move across the plains Thursday
night. For Friday through Monday, scattered afternoon and evening
storms are expected with near normal temperatures. The mountain
valleys will have minimum humidities of 15-20% with breezy
afternoons, but critical conditions are not expected. Humidities
will be higher on the plains, even with hot temperatures.
