.DISCUSSION...
Building high pressure aloft through Friday will cause warming above
the cold valleys, resulting in an inversion with poor mixing and
ventilation. Mixing heights, at best, are forecast to reach about
1000 feet AGL today. Slight improvement expected Sunday when a weak
upper trough moves in, but much better mixing and ventilation likely
Monday when a strong storm from the Gulf of Alaska moves inland.
Light durinal winds will continue through Friday.
