A deep inversion remains in place extending up to 7000 feet MSL.
Though this will bring warmer than normal temperatures mountain
valleys near Idaho City, this will continue poor ventilation and
mixing. Any smoke would likely be transported with the colder
mountain air at night to the Treasure Valley as is typical this
time of year. There remains a low probability (less than 20%) that
a cold front on Sunday could break the current inversion.
