A few showers and weak thunderstorms will continue to move
through the Magic Valley this evening with localized outflow wind
gusts up to 35 mph. Otherwise, hot and dry conditions are anticipated
through the weekend with temperatures climbing to near triple
digits by Saturday. Breezy northwesterly winds will kick up this
afternoon, especially in the Baker Valley and Snake River Valley
with gusts up to 30 mph from 1600-1900 MDT. A significant pattern
shift is anticipated this weekend, with scattered virga showers
and thunderstorms thanks to a monsoonal push.
