.PREV DISCUSSION...
SHORT TERM...Tonight through Saturday night...A closed low
working through the Desert SW will support afternoon clouds and
possibly a shower along the ID/NV border today. Dew point
depressions in mountain valleys will approach zero tonight,
bringing patchy valley fog. Otherwise mostly clear skies and
seasonable temperatures will prevail into the weekend. An uptick
in W-NW flow aloft Friday and Saturday will bring increased
winds to open terrain (gusts to 25 mph in spots) each afternoon
and evening.

LONG TERM...Sunday through Thursday...Dry conditions continue
into next week. Sunday night and Monday morning cloud cover
briefly increases as a trough passes north of our area.
Following the trough an upper ridge is set to build in. This
will push temperatures 5-10 degrees above normal next week. The
ridge moves east on Thursday and model agreement diverges, with
the mean continuing to favor warm and dry weather.
