.DISCUSSION...Mild weather continues, but the warming trend
continues. High temperatures on Tuesday will be around 100
degrees in lower elevations. We are continuing to track a weak
low pressure system that will bring a slight chance of thunder
south of Twin Falls, but will also cool us down Thursday
onwards. No updates to the previous forecast.

.PREV DISCUSSION...
SHORT TERM...Today through Tuesday night...Dry NW flow on the
east side of a large upper level closed high off the coast.
Temperatures will rise through Tuesday, finally reaching close
to 100 in most lower elevations that day. Skies will be mostly
clear and winds will be typical for this time of year.

LONG TERM...Wednesday through Sunday...An upper level trough
will move from west to east across southwest Canada Wednesday,
pushing a mostly dry cold front through the region. Temperatures
will drop a few degrees from Tuesday`s readings, then drop more
significantly as additional cool air moves in Thursday. Highs
will be close to normal Thursday through Sunday. There`s a low
chance of thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and evening in and
near southern Twin Falls County. Otherwise, the official forecast
is dry. However, recent model runs show the potential for a
trough to move toward the PacNW and bring showers and
thunderstorms Sunday. If future runs continue to show this, it
is likely that a chance of storms will need to be introduced for
late next weekend.
