...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN AUTAUGA AND CHILTON
COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM CDT...

At 900 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pooles Crossroads, or near Clanton. This thunderstorm was nearly
stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Calera, Clanton, Jemison, Thorsby, Maplesville, Billingsley, Plecher,
Gap Of The Mountain, Parnell, Chilton County Motor Sports Park,
Pooles Crossroads, Minooka Park, Lomax, Stanton, Waxahatchee Creek, I
65 Rest Area, Plantersville, and Isabella.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
