...The National Weather Service in Birmingham AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...

  Black Warrior River At Oliver Lock and Dam affecting Greene, Hale,
   Marengo and Tuscaloosa Counties.

  Black Warrior River At Holt Lock and Dam affecting Greene, Hale
  and Tuscaloosa Counties.

.Heavy rainfall is expected to produce rises over the Black Warrior
River basin and a flood warning is now in effect for the Black
Warrior River at Oliver Lock and Dam and at Holt Lock and Dam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

conditions warrant.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING TO LATE WEDNESDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Black Warrior River at Oliver Lock and Dam.

* WHEN...From Monday morning to late Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 129 feet, Flooding of agricultural lands in areas
  southwest of Tuscaloosa occurs.
  At 132 feet, Flooding of rural roads southwest of Tuscaloosa occurs.
  At 135 feet, Numerous camphouses and some permanent residences
  southwest of Tuscaloosa become cutoff.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 105.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow morning to a crest of 134.3 feet Tuesday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 129 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 140 feet, Some minor flooding of low-lying areas
  occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 126.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 140.1 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 140 feet.
