An active and cooler pattern is expected across the region through
this weekend. Light rain and snow are moving through parts of
North Dakota and northern Minnesota this morning, with some
freezing rain potentially mixing in through the day across
northern North Dakota. Temperatures will range significantly
across the region today, with highs around freezing along the
International Border to the upper 80s in southeast South Dakota.

The next chance for precipitation is during the day Saturday
through Saturday night, mainly for southern parts of the region,
where another wintry mix is possible. Another round of light snow
is possible across the southwest on Sunday. Any snow accumulations
through the weekend are expected to be light.
