Low temperatures this morning are forecast broadly in the mid 40s
to mid 50s. A cold front will bring higher chances for showers
and thunderstorms along with windy conditions across the region
over today as well. A few storms may be strong to severe in
central and eastern North Dakota, northeast South Dakota, and
northwest Minnesota this afternoon and evening. Sunday will be
cooler and windier than today, with highs only in the 60s and
chances for showers mainly confined to northern and eastern parts
of the region. Smoke aloft could also lead to on and off hazy
skies through the weekend.
