A cold front will drop south through the Region today. Scattered
snow showers are expected ahead of, and along the cold front,
with possibly a few snow squalls over western and southern
portions of the Region. High temperatures today will be mainly in
the 20s and 30s, except for single digits and lower teens from
northeast North Dakota into northern Minnesota. Highs will also
occur in the early morning over northern portions of the Region,
with temperatures falling through the day.

For tonight, snow showers will taper off over western and
southern portions of the region this evening, then mostly dry
conditions are expected. It will be colder tonight behind the cold
front with lows ranging from around 10 to 20 below zero over
northeast North Dakota and northern Minnesota, to the single
digits above zero over the western Dakotas and eastern Montana.

Temperatures rebound back to near normal by Friday with low to
medium chances for light snow tracking from northwest to southeast
across the region late Thursday through Friday. We then see
another brief cooldown as we head into the first half of the
upcoming weekend.
