On Wednesday, strong thunderstorms could move into eastern Montana in the evening and possibly reach western North Dakota during the night. More widespread and higher chances for showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for Thursday and Independence Day. Storms on Thursday may become strong, and storms on Independence Day could produce heavy rain. Increasingly warmer and more humid conditions are expected through Thursday. Highs each day will mainly be in the mid 80s to mid 90s. A slight cool down in daytime temperatures is then expected on the Fourth, but it will remain humid until Saturday. $$
